Salary: £ per day (dependent on experience)
Hours: 8:30am to 3:30pm
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced SEND Learning Support staff to work within a school in Grantham. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with students who require social, emotional, and mental health support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with small groups and 1:1 time with SEN children.
- Assisting and encouraging children with academic tasks.
- Providing great behavioural management and communication skills.
- Utilizing resources to help students understand and engage in lessons.
Key Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications are desired but not essential.
- A positive and can-do attitude to provide the best care for our SEN pupils.
- Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with other teachers.
- Quickly able to adapt and change as necessary in the classroom.
- Previous SEND experience.
- Hold a valid DBS on the update service.
