HGV Tanker Relief Driver Job Description

Pertemps Stoke is seeking a reliable and skilled HGV Tanker Relief Driver to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a curtain sided heavy goods vehicle, with the ability to drive the Tanker vehicle when required.
  • Deliver a wide range of products, including grease, anti-freeze, and turbine engine oil, to various locations.
  • Work independently, with occasional nights out and varying start times.
  • Meet the demands of a fast-paced delivery schedule, with up to 7 drops per day.
Requirements:
  • Full UK Licence
  • CE Licence, CPC + Digi
  • ADR is desirable but not essential
  • No more than 6 points
Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, with occasional exposure to dirty conditions when delivering to quarries.

The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Pertemps Stoke offers a competitive hourly rate of £16.54, with time and a half on Saturdays and double time on Sundays.

This is a temporary to permanent position, with the opportunity to work Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday runs.
