Pertemps TM is seeking a skilled HGV Tanker Relief Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of products to various locations across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving a Curtain-Sided Heavy Goods Vehicle: You will be required to drive a curtain-sided heavy goods vehicle, with the added responsibility of driving the Tanker vehicle when there is annual leave or sickness. Training will be provided to ensure you are equipped to handle this role.
  • Delivering to Various Locations: You will be responsible for delivering to a variety of locations, including Mercedes forecourts, back street garages, and even Royal Navy bases, with a maximum of 7 drops per day.
  • Nights Out and Start Times: This role will involve nights out and varying start times, so you must be flexible and able to adapt to changing schedules.
  • Delivering a Wide Range of Products: You will be responsible for delivering up to 5000 different products, including grease, anti-freeze, turbine engine oil, and more.
  • Working in a Variety of Environments: You may be required to work in dirty conditions, delivering to quarries and other industrial sites.

Requirements:

  • Full UK Licence: You must hold a full UK driving licence.
  • CE Licence, CPC + Digi: You must also hold a CE licence, CPC, and Digi qualifications.
  • ADR is Desirable but Not Essential: While ADR is desirable, it is not essential for this role.
  • No More Than 6 Points: You must have no more than 6 points on your driving licence.

Working Conditions:

  • Days/Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, with occasional runs on a Saturday.
  • Pay: £16.54 per hour, with time and a half on Saturdays and double time on Sundays.
  • Location: Stoke on Trent.
  • Duration: Temporary to Permanent.
