About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Meeting and Events Host. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of meetings and events at our leisure destination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet guests upon arrival, ensuring that all timings are correct and function sheets are up-to-date.
  • Ensure that meeting and event rooms are clean, set up correctly, and equipped with any necessary AV equipment prior to guest arrival.
  • Liaise with our culinary team to ensure menus are tailored to meet the needs of our guests, and that all dietary requirements are met.
  • Deliver food and beverages to meetings and events at the requested times, ensuring that all necessary equipment is available in the room.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and support teams to achieve common goals.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a hotel or hospitality environment, preferably in a meeting and events role.
  • Confidence in engaging with guests and other members of staff.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Flexible attitude towards working hours, including weekend work.
  • Proactive approach and ability to deal with problems and issues as they arise.
