Butler Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Butler to join our team at The Langham, London. As a Butler, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out butler duties as required, including packing, unpacking, and room service.
  • Inspect guest rooms prior to arrival to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Process check-ins, check-outs, and greet VIP guests with a warm welcome.
  • Assist with the service of food and beverage to Langham Club guests.
  • Establish strong working relationships with other departments, including Kitchen, Stewarding, IRD, and Housekeeping.
  • Deal with guest complaints in a calm and professional manner, reporting any issues to your supervisor or manager immediately.
  • Personalize and engage with guests at every opportunity, creating an emotional connection and exceptional memories.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in Front Office and F&B operations, preferably as a Butler or in a similar role.
  • Previous experience in Housekeeping and/or Concierge services is desirable.
  • Hospitality degree is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Opera system is essential.
  • Previous experience in a similar environment is required.
  • Strong interest and passion for food and beverage.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to anticipate guest needs and go the extra mile.
  • Immaculate personal presentation.
