About the Role

Menzies Aviation is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager - Cargo to join our team at Heathrow Airport. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing all cargo warehouse operations, ensuring service delivery, SLA, and KPI targets are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage cargo warehouse operations, including resource allocation, budgeting, and capacity planning.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, as well as regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Lead and manage a team of warehouse operations staff, providing coaching and mentoring to ensure high performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as H&S and Facilities, to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and manage projects to upgrade warehouse facilities and equipment.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in warehouse operations and provide guidance to other teams as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a cargo operation, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience in P&L management and cost control.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel.
