Financial Business Partner

Orka Financial is seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join their fast-paced Commercial Finance team. This is a high-profile role that will play a crucial part in driving decision making across all processes, including budgeting, forecasting, financial appraisals, and identifying opportunities and risks.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyse internal and external data to answer key business questions and present the findings as clear and actionable recommendations.
- Proactively identify opportunities and risks, and prepare business cases to align with leadership and share with the business.
- Work closely with the data team to define and guide development of function-specific reporting and KPIs.
- Provide financial expertise to stakeholders in developing budgets, improving forecasting models, and setting effective store targets.
- Gather and maintain accurate records of data and stay on top of competitive intelligence.
- Experience within the Retail industry is highly desirable.
- Previous Finance Business Partnering experience, including building and managing relationships with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Strong financial acumen, with broad knowledge of financial analytics, performance tracking, and business cases, matched with strong Excel skills.
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to influence a range of stakeholders, including board members.
- Ability to navigate complexities and drive simplicity through actions, processes, and insights.
- Excellent presentation skills, confident to present to all levels of management and able to tell the story through data.
- Self-driven and motivated, with confidence to take decisions and evaluate wider impact on the business.
- Strong planning, organizing, and time management skills, accuracy, and adherence to deadlines.
- A formal finance qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA), degree-level education.
£60,000 - £70,000 + bonus + benefits.
