The Bridge Ltd is looking for a skilled Project Telecom Technician to assist in a significant telephony overhaul initiative. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective delivery of technical elements of the project, adhering to established parameters regarding scope, quality, timelines, and budget. The focus is on facilitating the technical transition to realize the advantages specified in the project's investment rationale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the execution of various technical telecom modifications within the telephony overhaul initiative.
  • Utilize established frameworks and uphold project delivery protocols.
  • Prepare for engagement assessments and quality control measures.
  • Mitigate risks and vulnerabilities throughout the project duration.
  • Ensure comprehensive, up-to-date project documentation is maintained and securely stored.
  • Deliver technical modifications within the designated financial parameters.
  • Effectively communicate progress with the project team, portfolio board, and project stakeholders.
  • Identify areas for enhancement and offer constructive recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven track record in executing Technical Telecom modifications, including but not limited to:
  • Installation of telecommunication systems and structured cabling.
  • Issue resolution in corporate settings and substations.
  • Transitioning from traditional landline systems to digital solutions.
  • Router enhancements.
  • Deployment and validation of Wi-Fi networks.
  • Collaboration with telecommunications providers and third-party access entities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
  • Highly driven with a strong focus on achieving results.
  • Experience in budget management and financial oversight.
  • Competence in project planning and execution.

Role Context:
This position entails the management of multiple small to medium-scale telecom modifications within the larger telephony transformation initiative. The technician will be responsible for the successful implementation of technical changes and managing interdependencies with various business units, necessitating extensive stakeholder collaboration.
