Job Title: Management Accountant

Location: Durham area

Working Hours: 40 hours per week (08:30 to 17:30 with one-hour lunch)

Position Overview:

HUXONS RECRUITMENT is seeking a detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our esteemed client in the Durham area. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Group CFO, contributing significantly to the financial oversight and reporting functions. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and evaluate monthly management accounts for various entities, ensuring precision and promptness in financial reporting.
  2. Oversee and submit VAT returns, along with managing other ad-hoc HMRC reporting obligations, guaranteeing adherence to current tax legislation.
  3. Engage in financial forecasting initiatives, delivering insights and analyses to facilitate informed business decisions.
  4. Serve as the liaison for external auditors during year-end compliance, assisting with financial audits and tax evaluations.
  5. Compile and submit necessary reports to the Office of National Statistics as required.
