Job Title: Senior.Net and React Developer

Job Summary:

Lorien, a leading public sector client, is seeking a highly experienced.Net and React developer to join their team on a 12-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, business analysts, UI/UX, and test teams, to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Contribute to software development projects, providing architectural input when required.
  • Provide BAU support for main applications, including minor enhancements, to ensure that the applications meet current legislation.
  • Maintain development environments for the applications using Azure DevOps.
  • Maintain documentation for any updates to these systems, including run manuals, wikis, and high-level/low-level technical design documents.
  • Ensure software quality and performance through testing and optimization.
  • Ensure that the source code is controlled and that any updates follow the relevant governance (CAB, Architecture review, etc).
  • Support the redevelopment of a number of legacy applications.
  • Conduct and participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to defined coding standards.
