Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tubular Inspector to join our team at Parker Drilling. As a Tubular Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our tubular goods and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comply with company Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and set up necessary equipment to carry out specific examinations.
  • Calibrate and adjust equipment to required standards and settings.
  • Carry out examinations in accordance with company procedures, national and international standards.
  • Carry out visual inspections and code various tools in accordance with company procedures.
  • Mark defective areas of parts or products and prepare reports of inspection.
  • Configure and operate computerized inspection equipment.
  • Responsible for general housekeeping.
  • Cover for Inspection Supervisor if required.
  • Additional duties may be required within job holder's area of competence to fulfill company needs.
HSEQ Requirements

We operate an Integrated Management System (IMS) at all operational facilities to meet our business, legal and moral HSEQ obligations. All personnel are required to work in full compliance with the requirements set out in the ITS Group IMS, including:

  • Ensuring work is carried out in compliance with company Quality, Health Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
  • Not undertaking any task for which authorization and/or training has not been given.
  • Ensuring the highest standard of workmanship produced is in accordance with company expectations and as per customer, regulatory standards and specification.
  • Promoting good health, safety and environmental practices throughout all company activities.
  • Wearing assigned Personal Protective Equipment required.
  • Taking care to prevent harm to themselves, colleagues and others and the environment that may be caused by our acts or omissions.
  • Keeping work area neat, organized & free of trip and other hazards.
  • Reporting hazards in plant, equipment and other workplace or shortcomings in existing controls, to a superior without delay.
  • Supporting continual improvement of the integrated management system by expressing better and safer ways to perform tasks and improve policies and procedures.
  • Participating in HSEQ training required to meet minimum identified for position undertaken.
  • Attending Toolbox Talks, HSEQ meetings and trainings as and when required.
  • Authority on HSEQ grounds to stop operations or delivery of product on the existence of an immediate risk of harm to personnel or environmental pollution and damage to property.
Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Tubular Inspector with a strong background in inspection and examination. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of company policies and procedures, as well as national and international standards.

The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will also have a strong attention to detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
