Job Description

Atlas Professionals is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Head of Emergency Management. This position is based in Aberdeen, Scotland.

  • Financial Management

Monitor and analyze the financial performance of the Catering business unit, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to achieve financial goals and targets.

  • Strategic Planning

Support the development of corporate planning, formulate policies, and help set goals and objectives for the Catering business unit.

  • Performance Metrics

Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure and track the performance of business expansion and customer delivery.

  • Business Development

Responsible for developing wider business development opportunities, in coordination with Operations Managers, to drive greater bid invites and performance.

  • Human Resources

Accountable for people planning, development, and succession within the Catering business unit, identifying key resources, talent review, and future planning.

  • Marketing and Communication

Drive the development of marketing and communication plans, and the establishment of long and short-term marketing and business objectives and goals at a client level.

  • Governance and Risk Management

Review governance and management of the Offshore Catering business unit, communication, and engagement with stakeholders.

  • Competitive Analysis

Benchmark company rates for feeding and labor with major competitors, employ strategies to increase competitiveness while mitigating risk.

  • Risk Management

Develop and implement robust risk management strategies, ensuring the company is prepared for any potential challenges, including supply chain disruptions, and emergency situations.

  • Strategic Evaluation
  • Provide evaluation of identified strategic options and business opportunities and obtain buy-in from management and parent company stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements:

  1. Extensive experience working in the offshore catering industry.
  2. Extensive experience in a senior management position.
  3. Demonstrable experience in risk analysis and management.
  4. Demonstrated strategic planning skills.
  5. Financial and commercial acumen – ability to navigate and interpret complex accounts.
  6. Demonstrated customer relationship management skills.
  7. Detailed knowledge of remote catering operations, crewing, and logistics.
  8. Detailed knowledge of key geographies pertaining to offshore oil and gas projects.
  9. Broad understanding of offshore operations and compliance requirements.
  10. PC literate with extensive knowledge and experience working with all MS office products.
