HOW WILL YOU DRIVE TRANSFORMATION?

North Highland is collaborating with a significant financial institution to implement modifications to established financial systems, ensuring alignment with broader project objectives.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate within a team of developers on various projects and initiatives, sharing insights, conducting code reviews, and providing assistance as needed. Maintain applications in the production environment, aiding in troubleshooting, issue resolution, and root cause analysis. Operate from written specifications or project stories and independently refine solutions within a structured framework. Partner with analysts to clarify requirements, define modifications, and offer technical guidance, as well as assist testers in the functional evaluation of changes. Create and update documentation and knowledge bases within project management tools. Engage with both business and IT stakeholders at various levels to ascertain business needs directly from team members, communicating in an accessible manner when necessary. Collaborate closely with fellow developers, systems analysts, and business units to ensure prompt and effective delivery of modifications to products. Support DevOps teams in executing project and support activities.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Proven experience in IT with a strong background in design and development. Familiarity with the Financial Services sector and critical systems. Experience with Windows client and server applications. Participation in a team environment with shared code managed in a version control system, adhering to established procedures. * Practical experience with intricate PL/SQL implementations. * Knowledge of enterprise-level Oracle database architectures. Understanding of Oracle's advanced functionalities and best practices. Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio C# (preferred).
