The Neurotrauma Fellow is a key member of the Neurotrauma team, working closely with Consultant Neurosurgeons, Clinical Nurse Specialists, and other multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care to patients with traumatic brain injuries.
Main Duties- Co-ordinate weekly Head Injury MDT meetings and the cranioplasty service
- Contribute to Neuro-rehabilitation MDTs and emergency surgery for traumatic brain injury
- Perform elective cranioplasties, complex craniofacial reconstructions, and open and endoscopic skull base repair
- MB BS or equivalent, current GMC registration with a license to practice
- MRCS, with experience in Neurosurgery or a related discipline (Neurology/Acute Medicine/Critical Care)
- Excellent communication and team working skills, with a flexible approach to work
