Design Manager - Landscaping Components & Street Furniture

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Location: Swanley Office

We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to join our team at CV Library. As a Design Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the hard landscaping and construction elements of our project designs with our suppliers and clients.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in product design, preferably in the street furniture, play equipment, or metal fabrication sectors. You will have a good understanding of hard landscaping projects and their fabricated components, as well as excellent engineering and product design knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the design and construction of hard landscaping and street furniture projects
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their design requirements and preferences
  • Develop and maintain project designs and specifications
  • Ensure compliance with relevant building codes and regulations

Requirements:

  • Strong background in product design
  • Experience in hard landscaping and construction detailing
  • Good graphic skills and proficiency in design software (e.g. AutoCAD, Sketchup, Rhino, Revit)
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
