Job Title: Production Unit Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Production Unit Manager to join our team at Hunter Selection. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing all shift processes, production, and ensuring compliance with health and safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily plan provided by the demand team to meet overall production requirements using appropriate resources to each activity.
- Check the availability of materials for manufacturing plans.
- Ensure finished goods are manufactured according to SOPs and all activities comply with Quality & Environmental, Health & Safety Standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485.
- Full management of production process across areas such as packaging, freeze drying, and cartridge areas.
- Keep the training program up to date for all staff.
- Manage any issues that have arisen in the production area.
- Coordinate effectively with internal departments on things such as new products, improvement projects.
Requirements:
- Experience working in an FMCG manufacturing environment, medical/pharma is highly beneficial.
- Team and people management experience, including managing performance.
- Ability to lead and develop teams, spot training and development opportunities.
- Management qualifications, desirable.
- Ability to build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
