Deputy Care Home Manager Job Opportunity

An exciting new role has arisen for a dedicated Deputy Care Home Manager to work in a leading care home based in the Radstock, Somerset area. You will be working for a renowned healthcare provider.

This care home is a specialist autism service for adults, providing a unique and supportive environment. The staff team has significant expertise in supporting individuals with autism and challenging behaviors.

To be considered for this position, you must hold an NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work alongside the Registered Manager, assisting with the line management of a team of staff and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, including CQC and other statutory regulators.
  • Provide the highest standards of care to residents and manage the service to the highest standards.
  • Support individuals to live independently and achieve their goals.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Understanding of person-centered, needs-led, and outcome-based services.
  • Commitment to quality care and service provision.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and work under pressure.
  • Previous experience working in a deputy manager position, with knowledge and experience in the requirements of the service users.
