Senior IT Engineer Job Description

Bond Williams is seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Engineer to join our team in Preston. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support and solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Support: Provide analysis, troubleshooting, and system & network monitoring for external customers.
  • Maintenance & Support: Handle day-to-day ticket management and support junior engineers as required.
  • Solution Design: Define requirements, design solutions, evaluate vendors and platforms, and perform engineering tasks.
  • Ownership: Take full ownership of issues until resolution, providing 3rd Line support to our varied customer base.
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in an 3rd Line + Lead role, preferably within an MSP.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills in a Microsoft environment and practical networking knowledge.
  • Customer Focus: Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must hold full driver's license
  • Previous experience working for a MSP essential
