Job Title: Infrastructure Architect - Cloud Services

Sanctuary Group, a leading provider of housing, care, and commercial services, is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect - Cloud Services to join its Technology team at the head office in Worcester.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, with a balance of home and office working, and contribute to the future direction and design of Infrastructure services. The successful candidate will have experience in working in an enterprise Infrastructure environment and be familiar with cloud services, particularly Azure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive infrastructure architecture blueprints and roadmaps
  • Ensure designs align with business objectives and technical requirements
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and tools, and provide recommendations for adoption
  • Lead the implementation of infrastructure projects
  • Work closely with application development, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure designs, configurations, and processes
  • Monitor and analyse infrastructure performance
  • Ensure that infrastructure solutions are designed and implemented with a strong focus on security best practices and compliance requirements
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers
Requirements:
  • Comprehensive experience in Architect design of Azure Cloud, IaaS, PaaS, Identity and connectivity solutions
  • Comprehensive experience in Azure cloud infrastructure technologies, including Entra ID, ARC, Compute, Storage, Virtual Desktop, Automation, Monitor, Policy
  • Comprehensive experience in hosting infrastructure configuration, including TCP/IP4, TCP/IPv6, DNS, DHCP, Storage Systems, Hyper-V, Active Directory
  • Proven experience of designing and implementing improvements to Cloud infrastructure
  • Previous experience of managing people
  • Excellent organisational, project management and planning skills
