Cloud Infrastructure Architect

Sanctuary Group, a leading provider of housing, care, and commercial services, is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect - Cloud Services to join its Technology team at the head office in Worcester.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, with a balance of home and office working. The successful candidate will be integral to the future direction and design of Infrastructure services, ensuring the integration of new technologies and cloud services.
The role involves developing and maintaining comprehensive infrastructure architecture blueprints and roadmaps, ensuring designs align with business objectives and technical requirements. The successful candidate will also evaluate emerging technologies and tools, provide recommendations for adoption, and lead the implementation of infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using Azure cloud infrastructure technologies
- Develop and maintain comprehensive infrastructure architecture blueprints and roadmaps
- Evaluate emerging technologies and tools, and provide recommendations for adoption
- Lead the implementation of infrastructure projects
- Work closely with application development, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration
Requirements:
- Comprehensive experience in Architect design of Azure Cloud, IaaS, PaaS, Identity and connectivity solutions
- Comprehensive experience in Azure cloud infrastructure technologies e.g. Entra ID, ARC, Compute, Storage, Virtual Desktop, Automation, Monitor, Policy
- Excellent organisational, project management and planning skills
