Cost Control Role
====================

Semco Maritime is seeking a skilled Cost Controller to oversee the financial aspects of our projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely cost control, budgeting, and forecasting.

Responsibilities
---------------

* Develop and maintain detailed cost breakdowns for assigned assets or departments
* Collaborate with Time-keepers, Partner Finance Departments, Asset Management, and Engineering & Construction to ensure accurate labor and procurement cost capture
* Work with Asset Management and other departments to develop, monitor, and report on budgets and forecasts
* Ensure timely sales invoicing for all asset or departmental related activities, with accountability for unbilled costs
* Provide variance analysis and reporting for all asset or departmental related activities
* Review contracts and purchase orders to understand their impact on asset or departmental activities
* Serve as the focal point for asset or department, both internally and externally
* Participate in the full Month End cycle, including internal and external VOWD/accruals submissions

Requirements
------------

* Previous experience in large project work within the O&G industry
* Relevant cost control experience
* Ability to produce high-quality work
* Strong prioritization and task structuring skills

Note: This is a 12-month contract position.
