You will support and assist fee earners in carrying out duties and where appropriate to deal with clients and their affairs in a cost-effective manner under direct supervision.
You will be working directly with the regulators (who are our clients) in conducting interventions in to law firms across the country.
What makes this role so great?
It's extremely unique and something that you won't find at most law firms.
There are only 4 firms in the country who can be appointed to act as agents by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, Stephensons is one of them
No intervention is the same, which keeps us on our toes We never know what we are going to be dealing with. It could be conveyancing, crime, PI, or family work, which results in fantastic exposure to a variety of work types.
About You:
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual who has a real interest in the legal sector and this area of law.
We require that you have;
- A minimum of 5 GCSE's or equivalent (grade A-C/5-9)
- A minimum of 2 x A level – grade C or above (or equivalent)
About the Team:
The department is a small, close-knit team, they are specialist, professionals who have an extremely important role to fill. Though they have a high regarded role, they are extremely warm, welcoming and down to earth
