Airswift is seeking a skilled Contract Advisor to join our team in London. As a Contract Advisor, you will play a crucial role in managing contracts for our EPC client.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and qualify or draft different types of contracts, including engineering, procurement, construction (EPC), transportation and installation, service contracts, and associated confidentiality agreements.
- Manage the workload in coordination with Tendering/Commercial, Project Management, and Procurement functions.
- Prepare Contract Summaries on a tender/project specific basis.
- Advise Company and Corporate Management on main contractual risks and propose mitigation actions.
- Negotiate contractual instruments with counterparties in the best interests of the Company.
- Support Project Management teams in determining claims and contract management strategies.
- Support Procurement function in reviewing subcontracts and purchase orders.
- Draft all related legal instruments and correspondence.
- Perform legal research and have knowledge of industry standard contracts.
- Assist in resolving legal and contractual matters.
- Knowledge and experience of English Law.
- Proven experience of reviewing and advising on tendering contracts and of administrating project contracts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, listening and influencing.
- Strong commercial awareness.
- Ability to work under time pressure to meet deadlines.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership skills.
