Position Overview

As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse Special Educational Needs within an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster positive relationships with students, adapting communication styles to meet individual needs.
  • Utilize effective de-escalation techniques to manage challenging behaviors and promote a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to student support.
  • Implement behavior management strategies and restorative practices to enhance student engagement.
  • Support secondary-aged students with additional learning requirements.

Essential Qualifications
  • Proven ability to connect with children and adults, demonstrating strong communication skills.
  • Experience in behavior management and a solid understanding of restorative strategies.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • A valid driving license is preferred.
