About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Teaching/Care Assistant to join our team at Southmere Primary Academy. As a Teaching/Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing one-to-one support to pupils with additional needs, ensuring their successful engagement with and access to learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one personal support to pupils with additional needs
  • Offer special educational and/or medical support to ensure pupils' successful engagement with and access to learning
  • Maintain professional records and appropriate notes in relation to individual pupils
Working with Us

As a member of our team, you will be working in a large primary academy with up to 420 pupils, including a 15-place nursery. Our academy serves a diverse community with families from a variety of ethnic backgrounds.
