Financial Controller

Are you a qualified accountant looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience in financial planning and analysis, and a passion for managing teams? We are seeking a Financial Controller to join our team at Hays Senior Finance.
About the RoleAs a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of management accounts, budgets, and forecasts. You will also be responsible for managing a small team of finance staff, providing training and development opportunities, and assisting with ad-hoc projects as required.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the preparation of management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
- Manage a small team of finance staff, providing training and development opportunities
- Assist with ad-hoc projects as required
- Prepare analysis and reports for other departments, including tax and treasury
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Excellent understanding of day-to-day accounting processes and procedures
- Analytically minded with the ability to handle large data sets
- Highly organised and able to meet strict deadlines
In return for your skills and experience, we offer a competitive salary of up to £65,000 per annum, a discretionary bonus scheme, 25 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays), private medical, death-in-service, enhanced pension, and access to a portal with additional discounts/perks. This is a fully remote role with the requirement to travel to Worcester just one or two days throughout the month.
