Customer Service Advisor

Connells Group is seeking a skilled customer service professional to join their client accounts team in Moreton, Merseyside. As a key member of the team, you will provide exceptional support services to all Lettings Branches, Landlords, and Tenants.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Maximize rental income by communicating with debtors, negotiating payment arrangements, and monitoring aged debt.
  • Load and check property, landlord, and tenant details onto the client accounts computer system, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
  • Process renewals, terminations of tenancies, and return of deposits, ensuring seamless transactions.
  • Allocate funds received correctly and process rents received, remitting to landlords daily via Faster Payments and Cheque.
  • Produce statements to landlords detailing transactions on account, providing transparency and clarity.
  • Process requests from landlords, tenants, branches, and other stakeholders, ensuring efficient communication.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as required by your line manager, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

    Your Skills and Experience:

    • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to handle challenging queries via telephone and email.
    • Proficient in PC and related technology skills, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
    • Strong writing skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports.
    • Good analytical ability, with the capacity to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
    • Ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining a calm demeanor.
    • Flexible approach to working, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and demands.
    • Basic accounts and bookkeeping background an advantage, but not necessary.
