Job Title: Employability and Skills Trainer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employability and Skills Trainer to join our team at Curo. As an Employability and Skills Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering skill training programs, supporting individuals across B&NES, Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire.

Your Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging employability and skills training sessions.
  • Complete necessary administration after each training session, write case-studies, and capture data entry onto MS Excel.
  • Collaborate with partners to identify and recruit individuals for support and training programs.
  • Create impactful promotional materials and actively promote our services.
  • Participate in local employability and skills-related network events.
  • Provide structured coaching and mentoring on a 1-to-1 and group basis, including drop-in sessions.
  • Deliver holistic life skills, wellbeing, and activity programs.

Requirements

  • Confidence and experience in organizing and delivering skills training, with an understanding of the employability and skills field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with colleagues and customers.
  • Administration experience, using MS office and in particular Excel.
  • A background of working with external agencies.
  • A background of working with groups with barriers and ethnicity.
  • Passion for the employment and skills agenda, with experience in empowering people to fulfill their potential.
  • Solution-focused and strengths-based approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
