About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team at Initi8 Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the foundations of our company and contributing to the development of a game-changing platform in the Green Energy Space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing historical data from our customers to identify trends and opportunities for growth
  • Working closely with the Head of Engineering and COO to develop and implement data-driven solutions
  • Collaborating with the team to design and implement pipelines and models that can be operated robustly at scale
  • Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of our customers' needs and preferences

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a data scientist with a strong background in software development
  • Experience with numerical optimization, including nonlinear and mixed-integer programming, and libraries such as CVXPY or JuMP
  • Background in physical engineering, particularly electrical power/energy and mechanics
  • Experience with physics-based numerical simulation
  • Strong Python skills, including experience with data science libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, and scikit-learn
