Hawkes Resourcing Group is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join their team. As a Bid Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire bid process, from initial preparation to post-tender reviews.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement bid strategies to secure new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather essential information and ensure bids meet client specifications and company objectives.
- Lead bid teams and manage complex, multi-faceted projects.
- Provide accurate costings and ensure competitive pricing strategies within bids.
- Ensure all submissions are compliant with industry standards and maintain the highest quality.
- Analyze previous bids to identify improvements and optimize future submissions.
- Minimum of 5 years in bid writing and management, ideally within the social housing and healthcare sectors.
- Strong understanding of construction, social housing, NHS contracts, and government tender processes.
- Proven experience in leading bid teams and managing complex projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce concise and persuasive bid documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Commercial acumen and understanding of commercial risk and pricing strategies.
- Competitive salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, based on experience.
