Material Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Controller to join our Supply Chain team in Wolverhampton. As a Material Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring stock levels are maintained effectively, raising stock replenishment orders, and working closely with key stakeholders to optimize stock depth and product demand.
Key Responsibilities- Work with key stakeholders to ensure stock depth is optimized
- Proactively work with customer-facing teams to understand and meet product demand
- Manage demand exceptions and monitor non-moving and slow-moving stock
- Work closely with our network of branches and Insites to respond to queries in a timely manner
- Regularly validate lead times for all suppliers and maintain an up-to-date incoming order book
- Deliver high availability for the range under management
- Strong deadline management and ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Effective workload prioritization and ability to deliver under pressure in a timely manner
- Aptitude to improve working practices and effective communication skills
- Strong MS Excel skills and analytical mindset
- Effective time management and pro-active problem-solving skills
- Positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn new systems
