Material Controller

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Material Controller to join our Supply Chain team at Brammer Buck & Hickman. As a Material Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of our inventory, ensuring that stock levels are maintained, and that our customers receive the products they need in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure that stock levels are optimized and that product demand is understood and met.
- Manage inventory levels, including monitoring non-moving and slow-moving stock, and recommending actions to key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with our Network of branches and Insites to respond to customer queries in a timely manner.
- Monitor and validate lead times for all suppliers, and maintain an up-to-date incoming order book.
- Deliver high availability for the range under management, and work proactively to resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements
- Strong deadline management and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Effective workload prioritization and ability to deliver results in a timely manner.
- Aptitude to improve working practices and processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Experience in inventory management, supply chain, logistics, or a related field is highly desirable.
