Job Title: Associate Director of Risk Management

We offer a comprehensive range of financial and professional services to our clients, and we're seeking an exceptional Associate Director of Risk Management to join our team.

Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the provision of effective fund risk analytics, supporting better decision-making, and collaborating closely with senior stakeholders in the central investment team, committees, and operational functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain fund risk analytics, including market risk, liquidity, scenarios, and performance analysis metrics.
  • Provide private client portfolio risk analytics, including exposures, market risk, and scenarios.
  • Identify and recommend changes to risk analytics in response to evolving best practice and regulation.
  • Work with the Fund Operations team to implement required changes.
  • Collaborate with the Investment Oversight team and governance committees to propose changes.
  • Produce and present periodic product reviews with investment opinions to internal committees.
  • Support the recommendation of investment limits and thresholds to internal governance bodies.
  • Conduct ad-hoc projects and analyses.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in analytical, quantitative, risk management, or equivalent roles.
  • Experience of multi-asset class investments and financial markets in asset management, wealth management, consulting, or equivalent roles.
  • Knowledge of risk decompositions, risk sensitivities, scenarios, and risk limits.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, VBA, or equivalent programming languages.
