We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Administrator to join our team at CRA GROUP LIMITED. As an Administrative Assistant - Procurement, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Procurement Department in the processing of Council procurement exercises.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the administration of tender exercises using the Council's electronic tendering facility and various other IT packages.
- Provide administrative support to the Procurement Team, including data entry, document preparation, and record-keeping.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a high-quality, cost-effective, and timely service.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of procurement processes, rules, regulations, systems, and procedures.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement strategies and initiatives.
- Previous experience in procurement or a related field is desirable, but not essential.
- Excellent administrative and ICT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision and adapt to changing demands.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
