Job Title: Engineering Trainer

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Trainer to join our team at the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC). As an Engineering Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment to apprentices in the field of Fluid Power.

About the Role:
  • Deliver training and assessment to apprentices at levels 2, 3, and HNC, with a focus on Fluid Power (Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Electro-Pneumatic, and Electro-Hydraulic).
  • Manage physical learning resources and teaching spaces to ensure effective training and assessment.
  • Develop softer skills, including providing regular constructive feedback to learners and recording the impact of their learning.
About You:
  • High level of engineering knowledge, preferably gained from several years of industrial experience.
  • Experience of best practice in key competencies, such as installing and maintaining Fluid Power/Mechatronic Systems.
  • Evidence of knowledge in teaching methodologies.
Requirements:
  • Industry-related qualifications, such as L3 Apprenticeship, HNC, HND, or Degree.
  • Functional Skills Level 2/GCSEs in Maths and English grade C or above.
