Job Title: Class 2 HGV Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 2 HGV driver to join our team at Driver Hire Southampton. As a Class 2 HGV driver, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness of our community by collecting bin bags along a designated route.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Start your day between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM, Monday to Friday
  • Undertake 8-hour shifts, ensuring timely collection of bin bags
  • Operate a Class 2 vehicle and handle physical tasks, including lifting bin bags into a dustcart vehicle
Requirements:
  • Hold a Full UK driving licence
  • Possess a Class 2 (CAT C) licence
  • Be physically fit and capable of performing heavy lifting
  • Hold a valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
  • Have your own transport to commute to and from work
  • Have a minimum of 6 months of Class 2 driving experience
  • Exhibit excellent timekeeping skills
