We are seeking a highly skilled Career Coach to join our Skills delivery team in Kent. As a Career Coach, you will work closely with learners to identify and onboard them onto our multiple courses, providing support throughout their journey and into employment.
You will build strong relationships with employers to identify, generate, and secure vacancies with guaranteed interviews and sustainable jobs. This role requires the ability to present confidently and engage with learners at key stages of their program.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with employers to identify and secure job opportunities
- Work with learners to identify their career goals and develop a plan to achieve them
- Provide support and guidance to learners throughout their program
- Collaborate with the Skills delivery team to ensure effective program delivery
- Teaching qualification – Level 3 (e.g. AET / PTLLS/ CertEd)
- Highly skilled communicator
- Knowledge of the unemployed provision and employer/learner experience
- Ideal experience in Skills Programme delivery
- Courses designed to increase confidence with numbers for those needing the first steps towards formal numeracy qualifications
- Courses aimed at people who can't apply for certain jobs because of lack of numeracy skills and/or to encourage people to upskill in numeracy to access a certain job/career
- Courses for parents wanting to increase their numeracy skills to help their children and their own progression
