Job Title: Senior Solutions Engineer

At PubMatic, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Solutions Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Platform Solutions group, you will play a critical role in driving technical integrations with clients, partnering with publishers to understand their advertising strategies, and providing solutions utilizing your knowledge of PubMatic's ad-decisioning and workflow APIs.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with customer-facing teams to identify business goals, opportunities, and client objectives, ensuring the highest level of implementation of the PubMatic platform.
  • Partner with PubMatic's engineering and product teams to develop custom solutions and resolve issues during the sales cycle.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to PubMatic account teams and customers on best practices and capabilities to ensure balanced revenue strategies.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in a technical consulting role, preferably in AdTech, with a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience with Prebid and Header Bidding implementations.
  • Understanding of ORTB protocols and parameters, first/third-party data, GDPR, CCPA, consent manager implementation.
  • Demonstrated quantitative skills in SQL, Excel, R, or Python to explore data and find actionable insights.
  • Experience managing complex projects ranging from client setup work, convincing clients on the benefits of integration, and evaluating custom solutions.
  • Strong consultative sales skills, personable, charismatic, solutions-oriented, creative thinker.
  • Working knowledge of ad serving technology and ad servers, digital campaign management, tagging, and reporting, video players, frameworks, and SDKs, and experience developing against RESTful APIs.
