**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Education Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at East London NHS Foundation Trust. As an Education Mental Health Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based early interventions for children and young people in schools.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and deliver mental health and wellbeing support programs for children and young people in educational settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to identify and address mental health needs
  • Conduct assessments and provide therapeutic interventions to support children and young people with mild to moderate mental health problems
  • Work with schools to increase mental health awareness and promote a positive school culture

**Requirements**

  • Postgraduate diploma in Education Mental Health Practitioner or Child Wellbeing Practitioner
  • Post-qualification experience as an Education Mental Health Practitioner in schools
  • Proven experience working with children and young people with mild to moderate mental health problems
  • Ability to conduct 1:1 therapeutic interventions and work within educational settings
