This role presents an exciting chance to work collaboratively within a dynamic Secretarial Support Team in the Oncology Division.

Working Hours

Core working hours are Monday to Friday, with flexibility to be discussed with your supervisor.

Following an initial training phase, we offer the possibility of a hybrid working model, combining on-site and remote work, with the expectation of at least one day spent on campus.

Job Duties

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Accurately transcribing clinical correspondence from digital dictation systems within specified timeframes.
  • Producing discharge summaries, clinical documents, and materials for publication through audio or copy typing.
  • Exercising judgment to prioritize requests based on urgency within established guidelines.
  • Conducting daily peer reviews of clinical documents to ensure high standards of accuracy and quality.
  • Communicating sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Collaborating with outpatient administrators regarding appointments and essential clinical information to ensure timely patient care.

Communication and Relationship Skills

Training and Qualifications
