Kaminsky Consulting is a leading provider of asset management solutions to the chemical manufacturing industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our Asset Management Strategy.

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Reliability Engineer to provide expertise and assistance in the development of our Asset Management Strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing systems and procedures to facilitate the execution of the strategy and drive improvements in Safety, Asset availability, and Quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Asset Availability Improvement
    • Research and evaluate performance and losses of existing plant machinery
    • Contribute to the improvement of Asset Availability across the manufacturing base to meet OEE targets
  • Operational Support and Coaching
    • Provide support and coaching to relevant teams
    • Analyze operational data to advise on best practices
    • Propose methods for reducing lost production
  • Failure Investigations and Root Cause Analysis
    • Participate in failure investigations
    • Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and deliver change to prevent reoccurrence
  • Asset Management Strategy Development
    • Conduct Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) on existing assets
    • Identify weaknesses in strategies and seek opportunities to eliminate potential failures
  • Project Support
    • Involve in the design and installation phases of projects for new assets
    • Ensure integration into the existing Asset Management Strategy

Requirements

  • Education
    • Degree level qualification in an Engineering discipline (preferably mechanical)
  • Experience
    • Multi-skilled Engineering background covering electrical, control, instrumentation, and mechanical
    • Knowledge of generic plant systems
    • Experience working in Chemical Manufacturing (or equivalent) is desired but not essential
  • Skills
    • Exposure to project management as well as TPM, FMECA, RCM, PdM, and RCA techniques
