About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Graduate IT Recruitment Consultant to join our team at IT Talent Solutions in Reading. As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for sourcing and recruiting top IT professionals, building relationships with clients, and driving sales activity to meet individual and team targets.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sourcing and recruiting top IT professionals through multiple platforms, including LinkedIn, job boards, and databases.
  2. Writing and posting compelling job adverts to attract candidates.
  3. Screening applications and resumes to match candidates to suitable roles.
  4. Conducting telephone and video interviews with candidates to assess their skills, qualifications, and career goals.
  5. Providing feedback, support, and coaching to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  6. Developing and nurturing strong relationships with clients and candidates alike.
  7. Gain a deep understanding of your clients' needs, helping them fill their vacancies with top talent.
  8. Offering career advice and guidance to candidates, ensuring they find the best fit for their skillset.
  9. Proactively contacting potential new clients to introduce IT Talent Solutions and explore their hiring needs.
  10. Attending networking events and keeping a pulse on the IT industry to stay informed about new opportunities and trends.
  11. Building and maintaining a pipeline of candidates for both current and future roles.
  12. Working closely with the sales team, driving activity to meet individual and team targets.
  13. Tracking your performance metrics, learning from your results, and continually aiming to exceed your targets.
  14. Participating in daily/weekly team meetings, sharing updates and success stories.
  15. Liaising between clients and candidates to negotiate job offers, salaries, and contract details.
  16. Handling the end-to-end offer process, ensuring smooth transitions for both the candidate and the client.
