IT Asset and Cost Management Specialist

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled IT Asset and Cost Analyst to join our team at Leeds Building Society. As an IT Asset and Cost Analyst, you will play a key role in providing assurance, control, and oversight of operating costs to our Management team, in conjunction with a Finance Business Partner.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assurance, control, and oversight of operating costs to the Management team.
- Manage the IT invoice and procurement process, ensuring invoices are approved and returned, and challenging costs as required.
- Work with Legal and Procurement on supplier contracts.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize IT assets, rationalize the software estate, manage software version control, and software licensing.
Requirements
- Experience of managing or overseeing budgets, reporting on operational costs, or managing suppliers.
- A background in IT (particularly IT Asset Management, Configuration Analysis) or finance.
- Attention to detail, self-motivation, and proactive approach.
- Good problem-solving skills.
