Event Coordination Specialist / Marketing Associate

CV Screen Ltd is seeking an Event Coordination Specialist / Marketing Associate for a fixed-term contract within a reputable leisure organization.

This position necessitates travel to various venues in the Southwest region, with the flexibility of working from home one day a week. Candidates located in the Newport vicinity will find this arrangement particularly convenient.

As an Event Coordination Specialist / Marketing Associate, you will be responsible for managing local marketing strategies and budgets to significantly influence the performance of regional business units. This includes promoting various venues and all associated commercial activities alongside key events.


While accountability for outcomes lies with the Event Coordination Specialist / Marketing Associate, collaboration with central marketing teams is essential to ensure effective planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:
Implement marketing strategies aimed at enhancing event sales.


  • Oversee media campaigns and identify new promotional opportunities for local events.
  • Develop engaging written content, videos, and imagery for websites, social media platforms, and email communications.
  • Enhance website performance in accordance with SEO guidelines to achieve key performance indicators.
  • Work alongside designers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of marketing campaigns.
  • Manage social media accounts to boost engagement and conversion rates, collaborating with the group social media manager to refine strategies.
  • Monitor and address customer feedback online to improve brand perception.

The ideal candidate for the Event Coordination Specialist / Marketing Associate role will possess the following qualifications:


  • Demonstrated experience in a comparable marketing position, preferably within the leisure or hospitality sector, with a focus on B2C.
  • Proven track record in delivering a variety of effective on and offline marketing materials as part of marketing initiatives.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Twitter), CRM systems, and content management systems.
  • A valid UK Driving License.


This role involves travel to venues in the Southwest region, making it ideal for candidates based in the Newport area.
