About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse to join our team as a Targeted Lung Health Check Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our InHealth Group team, delivering high-quality healthcare services to patients across Surrey and Sussex.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing virtual and face-to-face nurse-led TLHC clinics, assessing patients against set risk criteria, and referring on to Low-Dose CT as required. They will also demonstrate and deliver excellent nursing skills in respiratory assessment, provide smoking cessation nursing advice, and identify and act accordingly to raise any potential safeguarding concerns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide virtual and face-to-face nurse-led TLHC clinics
  • Assess patients against set risk criteria and refer on to Low-Dose CT as required
  • Demonstrate and deliver excellent nursing skills in respiratory assessment
  • Provide smoking cessation nursing advice
  • Identify and act accordingly to raise any potential safeguarding concerns
  • Maintain IRMER accreditation
  • Work autonomously engaging with the wider TLHC teams as needed

Requirements

  • First-level registered Nurse
  • Minimum of two years' experience at Band 5 in respiratory nursing
  • Evidence of ongoing professional and personal development
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good IT skills
