We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at one of our 12 stunning hotels across the UK. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel, providing excellent customer service, and leading a team of staff to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including front-of-house, housekeeping, and back-of-house functions.
  • Lead a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring that all guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and control costs, ensuring that the hotel operates within budget.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ensure that all health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Manage staff rotas and wages, ensuring that all staff are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures.
