Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Multi Skills Tutor to join our team. As a Construction Multi Skills Tutor, you will be responsible for coordinating, designing, delivering, and developing a program of study for groups of learners. You will work closely with our team to ensure that our learners receive the best possible education and training.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective learning strategies to meet the needs of our learners.
- Design and deliver high-quality training programs that meet the standards of our awarding bodies.
- Assess learner progress and achievement, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Manage and maintain a safe and healthy learning environment, ensuring that all health and safety protocols are adhered to.
- Engage with local companies and organizations to enhance the construction experience of our learners.
- Design, develop, and monitor resources for learner use, ensuring that they are relevant and effective.
- Act as a personal tutor to a group of learners, providing guidance and support.
- Set targets and engage learners in their lessons, providing accurate and timely feedback.
- Monitor learner attendance and maintain appropriate standards of behavior.
- Keep up to date with curriculum initiatives, development of standards, and general developmental and professional issues relating to the delivery of learning in your area.
- Complete documentation and records of learner performance and administration associated with your role and responsibilities.
- Undergo continuous professional development as appropriate and directed.
- Uphold and promote TCHC Group Limited's policies and procedures, including the Equality and Diversity and Health and Safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- AET/Cert Ed/PGCE/PTTLS or relevant training or teaching qualification (or willing to work towards).
- Minimum of level two qualification within a relevant vocational sector or significant occupational experience.
- English to at least level 2.
- Maths to at least level 2.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team to achieve common objectives.
- Flexibility and a willingness to travel to different work locations.
