Key Responsibilities:
As the OFSTED Registered Manager, you will ensure that our services meet all legislative and regulatory standards as outlined in The Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards 2015.


Your role will involve:

  • Leading the development and implementation of high-quality residential services for young individuals and their families.
  • Managing a team effectively, ensuring collaboration with young people, families, and both internal and external partners.
  • Overseeing the daily operations of an OFSTED regulated Children's Home.
  • Ensuring the highest standards of emotional, social, and physical care, while promoting optimal outcomes for young people through research, development, and collaborative care planning.
  • Taking full responsibility for compliance with all regulatory requirements associated with Ofsted registration and the home's Statement of Purpose.


Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Management experience in residential services for young people.
  • Completion of RMA / NVQ Level 4 in Leadership and Management / ILM Level 5, or a commitment to start this qualification within three months of employment.
  • A strong understanding of national minimum standards for children's homes and the Children's Act 2010.
  • The ability to handle emotionally challenging situations with composure.
