As a key member of the SCR team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our services are fully compliant with legislative and regulatory requirements, including the Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards 2015.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Leading and managing a team of residential care workers to deliver high-quality services to young people and their families
* Ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met, including Ofsted registration and the home's Statement of Purpose
* Developing and implementing effective care plans to promote the best outcomes for young people
* Collaborating with internal and partner agencies to ensure seamless service delivery
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Management experience within young people's residential services
* A strong understanding of children's homes national minimum standards and the Children's Act 2010
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to cope with emotionally challenging situations and act calmly under pressure
