Specialist Dietitian for Spinal Injury Rehabilitation

About This Role
We are seeking a dedicated Specialist Dietitian to provide expert interventions and rehabilitation to individuals experiencing spinal injuries within our Rapid Response & Intermediate Care service in Buckinghamshire.
As part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in supporting patients' recovery and promoting their well-being. Your expertise will be instrumental in assisting patients in maintaining independence and avoiding unnecessary hospitalizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expert nutritional care and rehabilitation to individuals with spinal injuries, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team.
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans tailored to the specific needs of each patient.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on dietary management and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Monitor patients' nutritional status, assess progress, and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices for spinal injury rehabilitation within the service.
